Program Overview
Hacking4Allies (Australia) accelerates Australian companies who are solving public sector challenges that are of mutual interest to Australia and the United States. The first international H4Allies cohort consisted of Deep Tech startups from Norway. For our international startups, we focus on strategies to raise funds, find customers and build their presence in the US market.
Australian Pilot Program
In 2022 BMNT Australia in partnership with Austrade and BMNT Inc. are offering an accelerated H4Allies program as part of a pilot activity to explore and developing H4XLabs in the Australian context. The pilot program will focus on dual-use technologies and services with a focus on the national security domain.
Selected companies will undertake a three phase program:
Phase 1: Bootcamp (education and awareness) - up to 20 companies
Phase 2: Acceleration (customised coaching) - up to four companies
Phase 3: Targeted stakeholder engagement (in the USA October 2022)*
* Note: participating companies will be required to independently fund travel to the USA or make a separate grant application
Joining the Pilot Cohort
Participation in H4Allies is by selection. The H4Allies Australian Pilot Cohort is open to Australian companies seeking to engage in Defence and National Security Sector in the United States. The cohort will comprise:
Phase 1: up to 20 companies
Phase 2: between two and four companies
